About an hour north-west of Saskatoon, somewhere near Arelee or Eagle Creek, we followed a pretty surprisingly interesting storm. With the report from Environment Canada about large hail in this system, and a diamond shape on radar with right-turning action in the middle, it was hard to pass up. The first photos show where we thought we saw a tornado although it was very far away. We had a great view but not many roads to choose from to get any closer. We are facing west here and Biggar is most likely somewhere on the other side of the hill and behind the clouds.
We tried to go back south and west, ending up near Perdue, then Laura where it got away on us and we got wrapped in rain and headed home.
Video may be posted later, depending on the quality (it's not great).
